Summary of the board meeting Oct 3, 2024
No formal decisions were made, but many topics were discussed. As the sports manager was absent due to illness, we postponed some topics.
Financial situation & balls
The financial situation remains precarious, with shuttlecock costs being a significant expense.
We are therefore exploring alternative shuttlecock options.
In the next few days, there will be a test series with LI NING A+60 (15-ball roll).
If the ball is suitable, it will be ordered for the coming season.
(We will still have to keep other balls for the league matches).
If you take part in the ball test, please give feedback.
Admission stop not ended
As before, the halls are full and the admission stop remains in place for the time being.

Initiatives to support voluntary training
The original announcement to give up individual training in favor of doubles matches when the number of participants is high will be extended. Daniel will send an email about this in the next few days.
Projects
Club Championship / 1. BC Christmas Party
Proposed date: December 7/8th, Nadja will check the availability of the hall.
(Update: Laura is organizing the event and already has recruited 4 helpers.)

Joint review in the board is planned
The Club Membership Application form will be updated (some more consents, email communication, picture handling) and will be linked once ready.
Picture competition
Olaf will send out an invitation after approval by the board.
