I found this badminton club in 2021 and have been enthusiastically involved ever since. We are an international club with a mix of hobby players and team players. In 2024, I applied for the role of chairperson because I want to take on more responsibility.

I’ve been playing badminton for longer than I’d care to admit, both in Scotland and here in Germany. Since I joined, the 1st BC Munich has become like a second family to me, thanks to the friendliness of its members. It’s fun to see the club and its players grow during my time here.

In the committee, I can get to know the club’s structures and the work of the board, as well as contribute my own ideas. I want to get involved to ensure the club is well-organized and that the majority of our members feel comfortable and satisfied when they come to training. I really enjoy it, and I want to work toward that.
